Craig Ewing's "Space"
Caddying For Lee Trevino in 1980

(You can click on any image to see a full-sized version of it.)

A Short History ...
I was the head caddie at Rolling Hills Country Club in Golden (Applewood), Colorado.   Nearly every Sunday for three years, I caddied for two members.   One weekday, the third regular
member of the group, Leo Bradley, a lawyer for Coors Brewery, called me. He said 'Craig, we have a special guest who is going to play in our group this Sunday.   Are you interested in
caddying for him?   His name is Lee Trevino.'   (pause)   (more pause)   Finally, I said 'Okay.'   (Teenagers!)   And the rest is history ...

On the par-4 #7, he hit his tee shot through the fairway, into the rough, and under some trees.   He turned to me and said 'Craig, you've got to let me know what kind of trouble I might get
into.'   I responded, 'Okay, I'll let you know.'   (This will be significant when you reach the page where we were putting on the 13th green.)
